Title: Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Lyda has a B.A. in social communication and journalism from the University of Antioquia, Colombia. She started her career in that country working in news stations and television shows as a reporter, anchor, and producer. Lyda joined Mary’s Center in 2002. She oversees the marketing and communication initiatives of the Center and is responsible for fostering internal and external communications and for increasing awareness of the work done by the organization to support thousands of families throughout the DC metropolitan region. Lyda holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.
