Dr. Banjo-Awopegba’s journey in Dentistry started over a decade ago at the renowned University of Ibadan, Nigeria where she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree and excelled both academically and clinically; after which she practiced dentistry across various settings – including private, and corporate, government and community sectors.
She developed a passion for population-based healthcare and decided to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Johns Hopkins University, Maryland. However, her profound love for dentistry led her to Boston University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She continually enriches her knowledge and skills by attending advanced courses and staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, ensuring she can offer her patients the highest standard of care.
With several years of experience as a general dentist, Dr. Banjo-Awopegba has gained expertise in a wide range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative procedures, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery; treating patients of all ages, from children to seniors.
In her free time, Dr. Banjo-Awopegba loves making music, spending time with family and exploring new places.
