Ellen brings 30 years of health policy, healthcare business development, and clinical experience to her current work as Global Reimbursement Consultant for the Gastrointestinal (GI) Diagnostics portfolio of Medtronic, where she is responsible for providing leadership in the development, planning and execution of reimbursement and health economics strategies for targeted GI businesses. Ellen brings a unique perspective to the Mary’s Center Board as a former Mary’s Center staff member. First serving as Clinical Nurse Supervisor of Mary’s Center’s largest medical clinic, she transitioned to Clinical Director of Telemedicine where she married clinical skills with her management/consulting experience to help launch a new and innovative service line for Mary’s Center. Thanks to the program’s success, Mary’s Center was extremely well prepared to see patients throughout and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. She is thrilled to re-engage with the Mary’s Center mission through service on the Board of Directors. Ellen received her BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, Masters of Health Services Administration with a Health Policy Concentration from George Washington University
