Camara Watkins, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker with a passion for helping others overcome challenges, define and achieve their goals, and celebrate success. She operates within the belief that people are the experts of their experiences and in times of need are empowered through a therapeutic partnership. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2003 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University in New York in 2004 with a specialization in Children, Youth and Families.

Camara has over 20 years of experience, working as a crisis intervention therapist, forensic social worker, case manager, family engagement coordinator, adjunct professor, and social work supervisor. She specializes in working with individuals and groups experiencing transition, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and situational stress. Camara creates a safe, non-judgmental environment and works collaboratively with clients using strengths-focused approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solutions-focused therapy.
