Ametisse Gover-Chamlou is a Mental Health Therapist at the Mary’s Center. She received her MSW from the University of Maryland, where she focused on the impact of trauma and stigma on mental health of people who use drugs. At the University of Maryland School of Social Work, Ametisse was a Substance Use Disorders Interventions Fellow and received clinical training in evidenced-based interventions in substance use treatment. Ametisse has experience providing services to people with histories of trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use.
