Accessible Treatment for All
We value your privacy and encourage you to start a confidential conversation about your sexual health. We are here to help you make positive, healthy choices about your relationships, sexuality, readiness for sex, and consent, no matter your age or situation. Our Sexual Health services include:
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a medication that reduces the risk of getting HIV by about 99% when taken as prescribed. It can be used by anyone at risk, regardless of their sexual identity or orientation, including pregnant or breastfeeding women.
PrEP protects only against HIV- it does not prevent other STIs or pregnancy, so condoms and other prevention methods may still be needed.
New Option: Injectable PrEP
In addition to daily pills, PrEP is now available as an injection. Studies show it is even more effective than daily pills for many people, especially if taking a pill every day is challenging.
If you’ve answered “yes” to any of the questions below, you might be a good candidate for taking PrEP to prevent contracting HIV.
New and existing participants can make a medical appointment by calling the appointment line at (844) 796-2797. Our team can also help connect you with MD and DC Health programs, manufacturer patient assistance, or other resources to make sure you can access HIV prevention and treatment services.
