Yuly joined the integrated behavioral team at Mary’s center in 2018, after completing her Masters degree in Social Work from University of Baltimore and spending a semester abroad in India as part of her field placement. Her previous experiences include working as an in-home based therapist with children and adolescents at risk of out of home placement. Yuly has worked with social and public health programs in Colombia which involved providing psychological and social support to returning internal migrants who were previously displaced. Yuly is very proud to had volunteered with an organization that built houses for people living in extreme poverty in South America. Yuly is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia. In her current position, she delivers short-term, solution-focused psychotherapy to children, teenagers and adults in an integrated primary care setting. Yuly draws on several approaches including CBT and Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and is currently completing her certification in Parent-Child Interaction therapy.
