Jesus Vivar, DMD

Dr. Jesus Vivar is a DMV native from Hyattsville, MD. His journey to becoming a dentist started at the age of 17 when he became a certified dental assistant. He worked full-time while completing his undergraduate studies at Howard University where he received his Bacheor’s degree in Biology. He later received a master’s degree in biomedical science from Barry University. Dr. Vivar culminated his formal education in Boston where he received his DMD degree from Tufts University. Looking to further his clinical knowledge and experience, he completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in NYC. Growing up, Dr. Vivar visited community clinics like Mary’s Center for his healthcare needs. This is why he is committed to giving back to the community through comprehensive and compassionate dental care.
