Erika joined the Mary’s Center team in December of 2010 and started practicing psychotherapy in 2013 as part of graduate school training. She’s amassed extensive experience in treating trauma-related conditions and integrates a variety of skills and theories into treatment. She approaches therapy as a co-pilot to her clients in navigating their healing and believes that the therapeutic relationship is a mirror – one used to reflect the human spirit back. Outside of the therapy room, Erika loves long walks (on the beach or otherwise!), yoga, live entertainment, trying new restaurants, laughing as much as possible, pleasure reading, and is a big fan of women’s basketball. Prior career paths have included parent education in the context of home visiting programming, program management, and providing in-home psychotherapy to new and expectant mothers as well as those in the community with chronic illnesses.
