Todd A. Cox


Todd A. Cox is the Director of Policy at the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc.  As a civil rights litigator and policy advocate, Todd has dedicated his legal career to public service with positions in the Federal government, including serving as a political appointee under the Obama administration; the non-profit sector; and the foundation world. He started his legal career as an honors trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Todd has testified before Congress and state legislatures, made numerous media appearances, and authored several articles. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
