Sources of Funding

To ensure sustainability, Mary’s Center has a diverse mix of funding sources, including partnerships with community organizations, corporations, foundations, and government partners, as well as generous donations from individual friends and supporters, in kind donors, and our holiday drive partners. We also have initiatives like the Promise of Tomorrow campaign, the Get Care to Give Care program and the Legacy Society.

The Promise of Tomorrow is an expansion campaign that will allow us to bring new and expanded services to thousands of families and individuals and help them find the road to a better future. In addition to our new center in Fort Totten, other expansion projects for 2017 include:

  • Mary’s Center’s First Pharmacy
  • New Site in Montgomery County
  • Expanded Behavioral Health Services

Our reimbursement from our INSURED patients enables us to stretch those dollars and serve many more UNINSURED patients. We invite you to make Mary's Center your healthcare provider TODAY and help your community without having to write a check. You can help us increase our capacity to serve every one that walks in our door, regardless of their ability to pay, and defray the $3.8 M of free care that we delivered this past year.

Legacy Society

When you become a member of our Legacy Society, you will help future generations of participants improve their health, gain job skills and climb the economic ladder with your estate plan or deferred gift benefiting Mary’s Center.

If you would like to make a planned gift and join our Legacy Society, please contact our Director of Major Gifts & Planned Giving, Nina Golding at or 202-420-7071.

Thank you to these Legacy Society members for their visionary support:
