Mary's Center pharmacy

Meet our Mary’s Center Pharmacy Manager

Did you know that 25-30% of new prescriptions never get filled? Not surprisingly, this results in poor outcomes for patients.

Mary’s Center Pharmacy – recently opened at our site in Petworth (3912 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20011) – offers our participants an easy, convenient and affordable way to get prescriptions filled before they leave the clinic, and improves the opportunity for medication compliance and better health.

Welcome to Mary's Center Pharmacy, located at 3912 Georgia Ave NC, Washington, DC 20011

Here are the answers to some of the questions you may have about our new, convenient and affordable in-house pharmacy service.

What are the benefits of using the Mary’s Center Pharmacy as opposed to my local neighborhood pharmacy?

  • We are CONVENIENT - there is no need to stop at the pharmacy or wait for prescriptions to be filled after leaving the clinic.
  • We are PLUGGED IN - the on-site pharmacy works directly with care providers to address barriers to care, such as prior authorizations and insurance coverage, to prevent any delays in starting medications.
  • We provide SAVINGS - Mary’s Center Pharmacy has access to not-for-profit programs that can help patients save money on prescriptions. By filling your prescriptions with us, you will support the mission and vision of our health center.

How do I refill my prescriptions?

There are a number of ways to request refills. You can call them in at 844-370-6201, refill online at www.maryscenterpharmacy.org, or use our new smartphone app titled “Mary’s Center Pharmacy”, available soon for iPhone and Android.

How do I access my list of medications?

Begin by registering on the website to create an online account. Submit the information requested on the form, and confirm the account using the link you will receive via email. After the account is confirmed and you have logged into the website, click the option to "Find My Prescriptions." Be sure to have a recently filled prescription number handy.

In order to be sure the medication list is revealed to the patient and preventing fraudulent access, the website will require you to answer several questions to confirm your identity. The questions are knowledge-based and similar to those you may have answered for credit or loan applications.

After the questions are answered and your identity is validated, the website will display the list of prescriptions from the patient profile in the pharmacy system.

What insurance plans do you to take?

We accept most government and commercial insurance plans. Please call us at 844-370-6201 if you have any questions about which plans we accept.

Looking Ahead to 2017

Happy New Year from the Mary’s Center family!

As we look at the year ahead, we brace ourselves for the uncertainty of potential changes in laws and policies that directly affect Mary’s Center and our ability to care for the thousands of people who rely on public insurance programs that may be defunded. It is our promise to the individuals we serve to continue to educate lawmakers on the many ways Mary’s Center and other health centers like us, advance and empower our vulnerable neighbors.
