Mary's Center Opens New Site in Prince George's County, Maryland
On January 31, 2012, the new Mary's Center site in Adelphi, Maryland saw its first patients. Funded by Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield, the center is Mary's Center's sixth site in the DC metropolitan area and is positioned to address severe health care disparities in Prince George's County.
The brand-new, 4,500 square feet state-of-the-art facility has 10 exam rooms and offers prenatal care, adult medicine, pediatric care, gynecology, and social services.
Medical and social services offered by Mary's Center will be complemented by social and education servcies offered by more than ten other agencies within the Judy Hoyer Family Learning Center where Mary's Center is located at 8908 Riggs Road in Adelphi, Maryland.
