Mary's Center CEO to Kick Off 2016 Immigration Film Festival

Mary's Center's President and CEO, Maria Gomez will kick off Greater Washington's third annual Immigration Film Festival during an exciting Opening Night on October 20th 2016 at 6:30pm the Gala Hispanic Theater in Columbia Heights, DC. 

The festival, which will run from October 20th through October 23rd, features 22 full-length and short films showing the human face of immigration and the courage and resilience of people who are forced to leave their home countries. Screenings will be held at various locations in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

The Opening Night will showcase an intimate portrait of Syrian refugee children, as well as the Washington premiere of Indivisible - Love Knows No Borders, about three teenage Dreamers in the US whose families have been deported.

Buy individual tickets or a Festival Passport if you want to relish several films. If you buy a passport you will be entered into a drawing for a free round trip flight to Mexico!
