Who Does Mary's Center Serve?

In 2011 Mary’s Center served over 23,500 clients from over 90 countries (up from 6,600 in 2004). About 67 percent of our clients were female, 33 percent were male.

The number of patients recieving medical care was 18,223; the number of patients receiving dental care was 4,478; the number receiving mental health services was 817.

The breakdown of insurance coverage for Mary's Center participants in 2011 was:

  • 45 percent were covered by Medicaid
  • 30 percent were uninsured
  • 23 percent were covered by another public insurance (other than Medicaid)
  • 2 percent were covered by a private insurance
  • Less than one percent were covered by Medicare
