Who Does Mary's Center Serve?
In 2010 Mary’s Center served close to 19,400 clients from over 90 countries, including roughly 10,000 adults and more than 9,000 children and adolescents. About 70 percent of clients were female. Between 2004 and 2010, the number of clients served jumped from about 6,600 to more than 18,000, as shown below.

In 2010 more than half of our medical and social services clients—60 percent—were covered by Medicaid or other public insurance programs. Just over a third, or 35 percent, were uninsured; 5 percent paid for services through private insurance.

The age breakdown of clients served in 2010 is as follows:
- 48 percent adults (25 years and older)
- 12 percent young adults (20-24)
- 9 percent teens (13-19)
- 31 percent children (0-12)
