-A one-stop services center. Clients highly value a one-stop setting where they can receive a wide range of services in one place and where expert staff can help steer them, when needed, through the metropolitan area’s complex health and social services systems.

-Affordability. As one of more than 1,200 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) nationwide that offer comprehensive primary health care services to medically underserved communities, Mary’s Center provides care regardless of ability to pay. We rely on third-party reimbursements and sliding patient fees that are updated regularly based on poverty guidelines.

-High-quality services. As a FQHC, we adhere to strict quality and accountability standards. Our services consistently rank high based on feedback from clients and peer organizations. Our rates for breast and cervical cancer screenings, diabetes care, and childhood immunizations all exceed national standards.

-A complement of prevention and intervention programs. We provide extensive social and education services that are key to improving and maintaining health, e.g., home visitation, early intervention for children with disabilities, multicultural family literacy programs, and Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

-A welcoming environment for vulnerable populations. We welcome all regardless of race/ethnicity, legal status, or language literacy. Our staff members come from 32 countries and speak 30 languages.
