Dental CareDental Care
We are very proud of our state-of-the-art dental office located on the mezzanine level of our new building at 3912 Georgia Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. Our program provides comprehensive family dental care, including sedation and Invisalign clear braces. Our friendly doctors and staff guide patients through all their care needs, starting with a thorough hard and soft tissue exam with digital x-rays. We also manage good oral health through cleanings, sealants, fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, and periodontal care. We are also capable of treating homebound patients and meeting community outreach needs with our modern and versatile mobile dentistry equipment.
In addition to providing services to the general community, we offer free dental services for uninsured/underinsured DC residents living with HIV/AIDS through the Ryan White program to create an Oral Health Program. Click here to meet our experienced dental care providers.

Adult CareHealth Promotion/Disease Prevention
Mary’s Center provides health screenings; HIV, STD, cancer and tuberculosis testing; and a comprehensive set of counseling services and educational programs related to disease prevention and other health-related topics. By investing in health promotion and prevention, Mary’s Center avoids thousands of unnecessary medical visits every year. Our staff delivers such programs using effective academic methodologies based on community-focused practices. Through our mobile van we provide services to families in hard-to-access communities.

Mental Health Care
Mary’s Center is certified by the D.C. Department of Mental Health as a core service provider. Our bilingual mental health services include diagnosis, assessment, counseling, case management, and prescription/monitoring of somatic medications. Substance abuse screening, referrals, and post detox counseling are also available. When patients need emergency mental health services beyond our capacity, Mary’s Center staff works with the D.C. Mental Health Access Line, which has 24/7 coverage, including a mobile unit that can come directly to patients in crisis. The diagnostic/assessment process includes review of participant alcohol and substance abuse history, patterns of use, treatment history/intensity of care, and other factors to identify or exclude substance abuse or dependence as a co-occurring treatment need.  Mary’s Center staff refers participants needing full-service substance abuse treatment to the D.C. Department of Health’s Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration’s Central Registry, which can guide participants to the appropriate services.
