Successful Back to School Health Fair
Mary’s Center and ARAMARK joined forces to host a Back to School Health Fair on Friday, Aug. 20.
The event featured immunizations, annual exams and dental screenings for children in preparation for the start of the school year.
In addition, children received a back pack with new school supplies, visited Sparkles the Clown for face painting and ARAMARK Building Community Eat Smart Zone where company registered dietitians and culinary professionals offered one-on-one diet makeovers, interactive healthy cooking demonstrations and nutritious food samples.
Other event participants included the US Department of Health and Human Services, the US Department of Agriculture, Text4Baby, Unison Health Plan and M & T Bank.
More than 200 community members enjoyed the day’s festivities.
